Federation Square in Melbourne
Victorians from all backgrounds will unite for a week of exciting activities and events in celebration of Cultural Diversity Week, running from 16 to 24 March 2013.
The ever popular Premier's Gala Dinner will kick off the week in style at the Crown Palladium on Saturday 16 March. To mark the end of the week, tens of thousands of people will gather at Federation Square in Melbourne on Sunday 24 March for the spectacular Viva Victoria festival.
Cultural Diversity Week is an opportunity for Victorians to come together to share aspects of their culture, faith and language, and celebrate the benefits multiculturalism brings to our State.
All Victorians are encouraged to participate in an established event, or to organise their own activity to mark the week. Communities, organisations and schools who are hosting activities can register their events with the VMC. Free promotional material kits are available to order from this website to help you support and promote your activities. Click on the links below for more information.
